Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 virus, a decision regarding whether this event will be held will be made closer to the date of the event. This event is for all school aged fencers aged 8- 14 years.  It is a fun, participatory event aimed to assist young fencers in learning about how a competition runs, what they are required to do, how to interact and follow the referee.

It provides younger fencers an opportunity to learn some of the formalities and technicalities around competitive fencing. These competitions are designed to encourage participation, friendship and promote the foundations of good sportsmanship.

All fencers must be registered School, Club or Junior/Senior members of Queensland Fencing Association, Inc.

Fencers should bring their own equipment however QFA has a small amount of equipment available for use on the day. School fencers may be able to borrow equipment from their school.

Event start time is 10:00am.

Boys and girls may compete in the same event if numbers do not warrant separate events.
