Manly Harbour Village Halloween Festival

Fencing Display and Come-and-Try

The Manly Harbour Village Halloween Street Party has become a major social event that is not to be missed! QFA is calling on all its supporters to help with this event, one of our main recruitment drives for the sport. Can you help with the following?

• Transport and setup/pack down fencing display
• Helping to greet people and take names/answer questions
• Helping kids to put on equipment and get ready
• Taking names and registrations at the desk
• Walking around the festival to encourage people to come and participate – handing out QFA flyers

We have two designated demonstration time slots:

12:00 - 3:00pm and

3:00 - 6:00pm

Please email development@qfa.org.au as soon as possible to let us know your availability to demonstrate fencing and / or help with the come-and-try.

Fencers and supporters, please wear your QFA shirt if you have one.

Our display will be in Little Bayside park near the swimming pool (cnr Cardigan Parade and Royal Esplanade). There will be road closures in place and limited parking so please allow extra time to get to our display.
