The QFA is running this course is run to ensure we continue to fence in a safe environment. Note that coaches and referees need to complete first aid training every three years to remain certified. Volunteers and fencers are also encouraged to complete the course to contribute to the fencing community and beyond.

The course will be delivered by ABC First Aid. The QFA management committee is pleased we can keeps costs low by using a grant from the Queensland Department of Sport.

Once registered for the event through the QFA portal, you should recieve an email to log into the ABC First Aid portal. Note that there are online modules that need to be complete before you attend the in person sessions. 

Note also that we plan to hold this event at Yeronga, however with the recent cyclone event we are yet to confirm our room booking and may be required to move the event to an alternate location.
