The Management Committee is pleased to invite members of the Association to a General Meeting being held at Yeronga on Saturday 19th August 2023 at 1.00 pm. Only registered Senior (over 18yrs) members are eligible to vote at the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is to fill to the role of president, following the resignation of William Bishop (effective 31st July 2023), who has returned to New Zealand. The QFA Management Committee thanks Will for his many years of service to fencing in Queensland.
Current Treasurer Darren Powrie has notified his intention to nominate for the role of President and as such will be required to resign the role of Treasurer at the commencement of the meeting.
Members intending to attend the meeting through electronic means should contact the secretary by no later than 5pm Wednesday 14th August to make suitable arrangement.
