We Support
Development Squad is designed to develop newer fencers who have participated in schools fencing programs or club fencing, and are considering moving towards state level competition.
This squad is designed to develop fencers' skill sets to improve their fencing while encouraging them into club fencing and further competitive opportunities.
Training will be run by QFA coaches from 2-4pm on Saturdays. The sessions will include technical fencing skill, match strategy and knowledge as well as improving physical skill and conditioning.
Fencers must be members of QFA to take part in Development Squad.
There will be limited equipment available for participants to borrow during the sessions.
