Photo competition

Web sizeThe International Fencing Federation is encouraging fencers and friends to support World Fencing Day on their social media accounts.
QFA's getting on the bandwagon with a competition.
Have your photo taken in your fencing gear in an unusual or iconic location and post to your Facebook or Instagram account by midday on 9th September to be in the running.
Use the hashtags
#fencingday
#allforfencing
#qldfencing
You can be the model or the photographer, it doesn’t matter. It’s the photo and social share we’re rewarding.
The best photo, judged by a panel of three from the QFA Management Committee, wins movie vouchers for two people to Palace Cinemas and will feature in QFA promotional material.
The best twelve photos will be used to create a 2018 Fencing Calendar.
So put your thinking caps on and get snapping.
Sitting in a uni lecture theatre in whites and mask? We dare you to. Catching a bus in your kit? We know you can do it. Having a bout at the Mt Coot-Tha lookout, surrounded by tourists? At least you’d be guaranteed to have your photo taken.
Photos must be posted to social media with ALL THREE hashtags by midday on Saturday 9th September.
