Note: fencers under-18 who wish to compete in state or national competitions must register as Junior Members of QFA. The school and club membership level is for fencers who wish to compete at the school or club level only.

School and club members can transfer to junior members by paying the difference in fee level. Click on the 2019 Membership Registrations for Senior, Junior, Coach/Official or Supporting Members below and select 'already registered' to change membership level.

NOTE: Applications for registration with Queensland Fencing Association, Inc are subject to approval by the Management Committee and registration with the Association is not finalised until the committee has given approval and issued a membership number. Applicants who have not been approved for registration will be advised by the Secretary.

NOTE: Fencers who attend sessions without prior payment will be charged for the full squad block.

SCHOOL FENCING

 2019 Membership Registrations for School Fencer Members

*School fencers who intend on competing in QFA competitions or other national or international competitions must sign on as Senior or Junior members.

**School fencers with outstanding membership fees from 2018/19 will not be eligible to compete in the 2020 school competition until the fees have been paid.

Composite Team Member Entry for Individual Fencers

This entry is only for students who wish to be placed on a team for the Brisbane School Teams Competition but do not have a school team entry.

Events requiring seperate entry -

Entry for Queensland School (Individual) Fencer Championships - Saturday 13 June 2020

NOTE: The Queensland U13 State Foil Championships will also occur on this day but is a separate event to the school championships.

Saturday 20 June 2020 - Queensland School Teams Championships

* These events are the qualifying competitions for the national school fencing championships.

 

Venue: Yeronga Park Sports Centre, 159 Villa Street, Yeronga

Venue opens 07:00am for setup

Competition commences 08:00am

Fencers are required to be fully ready NO LATER than 30mins prior to the start time for each round

All schools are required to assist with venue setup and the provision of referees for the competition.

Referee nominations for each event are to be made through the specific event link. All non-members must first purchase a Single Day Licence to enter a QFA competitive event.
