Blue Card made easy

Working with Children

Are you a regular volunteer for QFA, helping to run tournaments, refereeing or participating on our interstate fencing tour groups? If you answered yes then you might need to complete a Working With Children Check under Queensland's Blue Card system.

More information about who is required to have a Blue Card is available on this fact sheet: Blue Card System Information for Sporting Industry

Note, if you are a volunteer parent and your child is receiving the service you are providing you do not need to have a Blue Card.

You can complete the online form (link below) then print it and bring it in to the office at Yeronga for a QFA Management Committee Member to sign. A QFA Management Committee member is generally available before or after squad training on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. If you need to make arrangements outside these times, please contact us.

Note, you only need to complete Part D of the application before printing. Leave the rest blank for QFA to complete. Also, please bring two supporting documents for us to refer to. These are listed on page three of the application.
